Down Payment Assistance Program

The Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing Corporation offers up to $7,500 in
down payment and/or closing cost subsidies to first-time home buyers.
The subsidy turns into a grant (is fully forgiven) if the home remains
owner-occupied after ten years.
Qualifications:
- Meet income requirements listed below.
- Have not owned home within past 3 years.
Requirements:
- Completion of pre-homeownership counseling.
- House payment cannot exceed 38% of purchaser’s total monthly income.
- Contribute $500 toward down payment or closing costs.
- The subsidy turns into a grant (is fully forgiven) if the home remains owner-occupied after ten years.
